Climate Change Debate
AIG WA Branch presented a debate on climate change featuring Professor Ian Plimer and Gary Warden in Perth on 9 July.
Professor Ian Plimer presented a 20 minute talk on followed by Gary Warden who presented the opposing view to Ian's. The debate was moderated by Tom Murrell. The presentations were followed by questions from the floor to both speakers.
Around 600 people attended the debate, resulting in there being standing room only for a lively and topical discussion.

AIG does not have a formal position on climate change but recognises the interest of members in the issue and is concerned that debate on the issue should follow sound, balanced scientific principles.
