This talk will present a brief overview of the $2.5 million collaborative research project on Northern Queensland Intrusion-related Gold Systems (IRGS), between the Geological Survey of Queensland, James Cook University, and Klondike Exploration. The talk will focus on the geological aspects of the project, on what the systems are, and why they are studied.
