THE GEOLOGICAL SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA – WEST AUSTRALIA DIVISION

By popular demand John Bunting, author of ‘A Geological Field Guide to the Capes Region of Southwest WA’ will lead a A GEOLOGICAL FIELD TRIP TO THE CAPES REGION OF SOUTHWEST WESTERN AUSTRALIA

See spectacular scenery and a dynamic coastline; 1100-530 million year old high-grade metamorphic rocks with multiple folds; warm-water corals 127,000 years old; recent microbial mats, stromatolites and rimstone pools; pure black/red heavy mineral sand.
Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of May 2015

Cost = $33 (GSA members & University students) or $44 ()non-members). Add $38 if you need to purchase a copy of the Field Guide (recommended).
