ALGA Brisbane Branch Technical Forum this May.

This forum presentations will share processes, responsibilities and challenges from the Waste Transporter, Landfill Operator and Regulator as well as presentation of feasibility study on developing a nationally consistent system for tracking and monitoring controlled (hazardous) waste in Australia with considerable benefit in achieving greater consistency between the varying schemes for tracking and reporting hazardous waste, from those run by the states and territories to the NEPM on movements between jurisdictions. Potential benefits include greater transparency around the national performance in hazardous waste management, improving data benchmarks across the country and streamlining compliance.
