Opportunities and Advancements in CoalBed Methane in the Asia Pacific – presented by AAPG

Make plans to attend an AAPG GTW to be held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, 12-13 February 2015. Brisbane is the centre of the world’s first CBM-LNG projects amounting to over $60 billion of investment.

The aim of the workshop is to provide an initial overview of CBM opportunities in the Asia Pacific and to share and examine recent technological advancements in geological understanding and in key engineering practices which are emerging from around the region. The workshop program will comprise 5 main sessions.

Who should attend?

Geoscientists, petroleum and well engineering professionals engaged in CBM/CSG exploration, appraisal, development and production for coal bed methane; researchers and academics in coal geology and hydro-geology, production technologists and reservoir modellers.
