QUT/UQ EarthBall
QUT NRS in cooperation with UQ Geoscience is holding their annual ball.
Earthball 2014 (previously Geoball), a gala ball held by QUT Natural Resource Society and UQ Geoscience is being held 26 September 2014. We are reaching out to our industry supporters to invite you and your colleagues along. Not only is this a great way to support local students, but it will be an amazing and fantastic event. Here are some of the details and responses to feedback from previous years:
1. The event is held at the prestigious Stamford Plaza Hotel on the Brisbane River in the CBD.
2. There will be a two course dinner followed by a small dessert bar.
3. We will have an acoustic band followed by two DJs to ensure plenty of entertainment.
4. A photo booth and professional photographers will be present
5. Open bar including beer, wine and spirits.
There is an early bird special ($110/ticket) if tickets are purchased before the end of August (sorry for the late notice!). Follow the link provided below. We also have a single sponsorship available for the event if that is of interest.
