It has been ten years since the inaugural Applied Structural Geology in Mineral Exploration and Mining Conference in Kalgoorlie.  This time Geoscientists Symposia is linking with the Australian Institute of Geoscientists to convene the symposia and related activities in Kalgoorlie in September 2012.  The format of the meeting will follow the successful formula used ten years ago.  There will be short courses and field trips.  The major theme is "up-skilling".  The symposia will be held 26-28 September 2012.  Pre and post conference field trips, mine visits, workshops and short courses will be held between 20 September and 3 October.

Internationally recognised keynote speakers include Greg Corbett, Stephen Cox, Steffan Hagemann, Bruce Hobbs, Terry Palvis, Howard Poulsen and Richard Tosdal.
