AIG has a branch in Victoria, based in Bendigo.

Committee: Allison Cooke (NGC Chair for Victoria), Trevor Jackson, Ben Jupp (Bendigo GPIC Coordinator), Fiona Makin (Events sub-committee member), Bill Reid (Ballarat GPIC Coordinator), Peter Smith (Mentoring Coordinator for Victoria), Gayle Tolland.
Monthly GPIC events are generally held in Ballarat at the Mallow Hotel on the third Thursday of the month and in Bendigo at the Basement on View on the second Tuesday of the month. The Branch also holds an annual conference and occasionally organises mine visits, seminars and a Terroir.
Funds raised through sponsorship of the annual conference enables the Branch to offer a number of Travel Grants to Victorian Tertiary Students.
Lauren Swann and Rod Boucher are also working on a Geo-Tourism initiative which aims to promote Geo-Tourism, develop resources, and forge links with other organisations.
