AIG STUDENT BURSARY PROGRAM

The Australian Institute of Geoscientists’ Student Bursary Program supports geoscience teaching and research in Australia.  The Program is open to students who, at the closing date for applications, are:

  • enrolled at Third Year, Honours or Postgraduate level in a geoscience course at an Australian tertiary institution;
  • Australian citizens or permanent residents (an Australian Tax Office requirement);

The Bursary Awards are funded by the AIG, with the generous support of organisations and AIG members through donations to the AIG Education Foundation.

Information about supporting the AIG bursary program through donations to the AIG Education Foundation is available by contacting the AIG Education Committee (education@aig.org.au) or the AIG Secretariat (aig@aig.org.au).
