Canterbury acquired the Briggs and Mannersley tenements in 2017 from Rio Tinto. Exploration to date by Canterbury has focussed on the Central Porphyry zone of the Briggs deposit, where extensive copper mineralisation outcrops. This work has included a deep diamond drilling program that successfully outlined broad intervals of low-grade copper mineralisation (143 Mt at 0.29% Cu at a 0.2% cut-off). This talk will provide an overview of the geology and mineralisation at Briggs and Canterbury’s exploration plans.
