What is happening to Minerals Exploration in Queensland

Presented by Doug Brewster

The AusIMM in conjunction with the AIG and GSAQ would like to invite members to attend the Technical meeting in July covering “What is Happening to Minerals Exploration in Queensland?” presented by Doug Brewster. Doug is an Exploration Manager with field experience managing exploration programs for both large mining groups and the smaller explorers.

What is happening to exploration in Queensland – exploration costs are rising, time to receive permits goes on forever and therefore exploration activity continues to drop. Exploration tools are much more efficient using drones and hand held analysers yet discoveries are dropping. What is the solution?

We have suggestions and we want to hear yours.
