Talk Overview

Spurred on by the fabulously profitable Fosterville gold mine, investors are tripping over one another trying to stake a claim in Victoria. Each trying to find “the next Fosterville”.

But the reality is, that the majority of Victoria’s Gold production was won from the Bendigo and Ballarat goldfields and on the balance of probabilities new explorers are more likely to turn up another Bendigo or Ballarat style deposit.

So, what ever happened to the Bendigo and Ballarat Gold Mines, and is there anything the new wave of explorers can learn from them?
