The Geological Survey of Queensland (GSQ) would like to invite you to a one day workshop outlining the application of the Corescan hyperspectral technology to your business needs.

Consultation with the resource industry operating in the North West Minerals Province highlighted a need for increased support with data acquisition and interpretation on drill samples. In response, GSQ is assisting a Western Australian company Corescan Pty Ltd to undertake a 6 month trial of its logging services commencing early 2017. The trial would comprise Corescan providing services on a commercial basis to resource sector users in the region, operating from the John Campbell Miles Core Storage facility at Mount Isa.

The workshop is intended to provide an overview and basic introduction in use and application of hyperspectral scanning technology, hence is framed as a working session. It is preferred that attendees bring an internet-capable laptop to work through example data-sets. Further details are provided in the attached flyer

Registration is essential, lunch will be provided.  See the flyer for details.  To register email the Geological Survey of Queensland by the 25th of October 2016.
