The role of luck in mineral explorationTechnical PresentationProfessor Mike Dentith Mike Dentith is Professor of Geophysics at the University of Western Australia. He is a founding researcher in the Centre for Exploration Targeting and is also affiliated with the Centre for Energy Geoscience. His research interests include geophysical signatures of mineral systems, hard rock petrophysics and crustal scale geophysics. He is co-author of “Geophysics for the Mineral Exploration Geoscientist”, published by Cambridge University Press and co-editor of two compilations of geophysical case histories “Geophysical Signatures of Western Australian Mineral Deposits” and “Geophysical Signatures of South Australian Mineral Deposits”.
