The Ballarat Gold Project has recently poured its 200,000th ounce, after five years of operation by CGT. A ‘challenging’ resource, it has required a constant focus on in-mine geology. Improving understanding of controls on mineralisation and a track record of successful mining present an opportunity for strategic refocus on the longer term mineralisation inventory – exploration of the Ballarat tenements.
The presentation is a summary of exploration and potential at the Ballarat Gold Project.
Bill Reid is Exploration Manager at CGT. His experience over 20 years includes exploration on three continents, focused predominantly on gold and base metals. Relatively new to Victoria, he is consistently impressed by the exceptional exploration potential of the Ballarat Gold project, and the opportunities it presents for sustainable operations at CGT.
To support our Victorian Branch and ongoing future events we kindly ask for a small admission fee from our attendees – $10 Members, $15 Non-Members, Students Free.
