In this two day QGIS extravaganza, we’ll cover the fundamentals with geoscience-specific data and exercises:

  • Basic styling & labelling
  • Working with expressions
  • Creating & editing data
  • QGIS plugins
  • Visualising geochemistry & geophysical data
  • Making maps
  • Georeferencing
  • Raster basics
  • Drillhole traces and cross sections
  • Raster processing and geological mapping with ASTER

What to bring

Bring your own laptop with a recent version of QGIS installed (we’ll provide more information when you register). A mouse with scroll wheel is recommended.
