As an industry and as people working in the resources sector, the road we travel is often a tricky one to navigate. Kylie recently stepped down as Deputy Secretary for Resources and Geoscience in the NSW Department of Planning and Environment. She has kindly agreed to talk to us about how a values-based approach, combined with a strong belief in the resources sector’s intrinsic value, has helped her navigate the road we all share. The session will give SMEDG members a chance to hear more about what drives Kylie, her early career, resources in NSW, and the continuing challenges which industry faces. She will also share her views on gender diversity in our industry. An extended Question and Answer session will follow.
