Presenter Bio:
Steven Harper was recently promoted to Exploration Manager for Ravenswood Gold after serving as Principal Exploration Geologist for over a year. Steven has worked with Ravenswood Gold for a total of 3 years and was charged with drilling the Buck Reef West deeps and construction of the geology model for the Buck Reef Pit in 2018. Since returning to Ravenswood he has overseen the building of a combined Buck Reef and Sarsfield model and exploration programs further afield. Prior to returning in early 2021 Steven held the role of Geology Manager at Red River Resources for 2 and a half years where he oversaw both mine geology and exploration geology at their Thalanga Mine. Prior to this Steven worked with Centamin Plc at Sukari in Egypt and spent several years with Xstrata at Ernest Henry. Steven has over 20 years experience with gold and base metals mine geology and exploration within large, medium and junior companies, primarily in Queensland and Victoria.
