The AIG Victoria branch will hold their annual conference on Friday 13 October 2017 on the smart and successful use of innovative technology and data.

This conference naturally follows last years theme on new innovative technologies by looking at how we as Geoscientists can embrace and use the sometimes large and complex data sets that are being generated.

How do we add value to understanding the data? Can we do more to demonstrate how valuable and integral we are to our companies plans by being masters of the data and not slaves to it? What skills do we need as Geoscientists to interpret the data presented to us?

This conference aims to answer some of these questions and to showcase how smart data can be used in a smart manner.
