After a 1 year gap the Victoria Minerals Round-up returns in November 2021.
Despite the many limitations placed on all sectors of society over the last 12 months, Victorian explorers have continued to generate sensational results. We’d therefore like to provide explorers and other members of the geoscience community an opportunity to review what has been achieved and consider the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
The conference will be held at the Macedon Spa Resort on Friday 5 November. Presentations and photos from previous events at the same venue can be found on the AIG web site at: https://www.aig.org.au/victorian-branch-presentations/
A one-day workshop is also being developed for the day prior to the conference (Thursday 4 November) and is anticipated to encompass QA/QC and Data Management
With Vaccine rollout underway, COVID infection rates being held in check and 50,000 spectators allowed at the MCG we hope our event won’t be subject to too many limitations. However we will still need to comply with Victorian COVID rules in effect at the time of the event. Should the event be postponed or cancelled full refunds will be available.
There will be four sessions with 3 speakers each. Presentations are 20 minutes each plus 5 minutes for questions. Please include a title and brief biography when submitting your request to present. No papers are required but authors are requested to provide a copy of their presentation for the AIG Website.
