Exploration Skills for Graduate Geoscientists
Field Course, Kalgoorlie, February 2013

The AusIMM Geoscience Society, AIG and Digirock are holding a five day field course designed to assist graduate geoscientists in the trabsition from university to a career in mineral exploration.

The course is timed to be delivered early in a graduate’s career – near the start of initial employment. It is intended as a primer for the technical issues of exploration that young professionals are likely to encounter as well as information on the business aspects of exploration and expected work ethic.

Numbers will be limited to ensure all participants are well exposed to the training.

Dates: 11-15 February 2013 inclusive
Location: Kalgoorlie, Western Australia
Cost: (Includes GST): AusIMM and AIG members: A$3,850 per person
Non members: A$4,950 per person
AusIMM Student members: A$2,200 (places limited)
Includes: All instruction, materials, field travel, accommodation and meals. Each attendee will also receive a printed course manual and a geologists’ toolbag.
