The AGI GeoWebinar series consists of two components: Geoscience Currents Discussions and our GeoConnection Webinars.
Participation in AGI’s GeoWebinars is free.
Geoscience Currents Discussions:
A week after each Geoscience Currents is published, there will be a 15-30 minute webinar discussion where members of the geoscience community can discuss the information on the most recent Geoscience Currents with the author. See the schedule below for upcoming Geoscience Currents Discussions.
GeoConnection Webinars:
These webinars are monthly 1-hour live webinars that address topics of interest within the geoscience community. Speakers will include industry, government, and academic professionals, as well as geoscience students. See the schedule below for upcoming GeoConnection Webinars.
The webinars are held very early in the morning Australian time but are worth attending. If you can’t get up, or stay up on the day, the webinars are recorded and posted on the AGI web site at http://www.agiweb.org/workforce/webinars.html. Details of upcoming webinars also appear in the AIG events calendar.
AIG is an AGI affiliate society.
