This course is designed for geologists who wish to take advantage of the latest software to develop robust 3D models for greenfield and brownfield exploration programs.
Hands-on exercises will demonstrate the workflows required for creating geological and grade models typically used in exploration and resource assessments. Examples will be taken from different deposit styles including narrow vein and strataform deposits and at different scales, to demonstrate the various techniques used to create these 3D models.
Key learnings and outcomes:
No prior knowledge of 3D software is required.

Course presented by Ben Jupp, Senior Consultant. Ben has over ten years’ experience specialising in structural geology and 3D geological modelling. Ben has worked on a variety of deposits in Australia and internationally. He provides structural geological mapping and 3D geological modelling used for exploration and mineral resource assessments to his clients.
