Outback Goldfields entered the Victorian Exploration scene late in 2020 purchasing an enviable package of Exploration tenements across the Victorian Goldfields. Since then, the company has established a small geology team in Ballarat and hit the ground running, completing a number of exploration programs across their tenements. Matt will be presenting a brief overview of the company’s progress to date and where they plan to head next as they strive to discover Victoria’s next Multi million ounce deposit.

Matt Hernan is a well-known geologist who has been working in Victoria for the past 15 years and has moved from working on mine sites to consulting himself out.

Over his 19 years experience as a Geologist, he has developed a passion for narrow vein, nuggetty gold deposits and currently manages Outback Goldfields Gold exploration programs across the Victorian Goldfields.

The AIG VIctorian Branch is delighted to continue the momentum from the March GPIC technical talk, by inviting Students and local professionals to another great evening of networking and technical talks under the Central Deborah Gold mine headframe.
