ASEG Queensland – Local Branch Meeting November 2016

There is street parking and an undercover carpark at XXXX Brewery available for meeting attendees to use.

This month we have talks from two students graduating this year from the University of Queensland (BSc. Honours – Exploration Geophysics).

Both students will be presenting work completed on their Honours Theses as shown below.

• Speaker: Chris Mathews
  Talk Title: Near-surface characterization from dispersion of Rayleigh and Love waves
• Speaker: Shakira Heffner
  Talk Title: Analysis of azimuthal anisotropy in coal-scale 3D seismic reflection

This will be the final branch meeting for the year.

We will also be presenting several members with certificates in recognition of twenty-five years of ASEG Membership.
