The main purpose of this meeting is to propose a special resolution to remove Integrative Business Solutions as auditor of the Company and to recommend appointment of a new Auditor, Tinworth & Co.
The primary reason for this special resolution is to appoint a Sydney based auditor which is close to the new AIG secretariat office in Sydney, reducing costs for the Institute.
The agenda for the meeting will be as follows:
“That Integrative Business Solutions be removed as auditor of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists Ltd and Tinworth & Co be appointed as the new auditor of the company effective immediately under Section 329(1A) of the Corporations Act.”
