Friday 5th November 2021
6pm for 6:30
Dalton Room,
Duntryleague Golf Club
Woodward Street, Orange
PRESENTED BY: Mark Arundell
From Mark: “I confess – I was a metals exploration snob. I thought that industrial minerals was ‘simple’ and, well, boring. In 2003, I was asked to review the potential for Potash in Australia – I agreed and then had to Google ‘potash’ to find out what I committed to. It was a steep learning curve – potash exploration is a hybrid of metals & petroleum techniques and skills – but I learned heaps and it’s made me a better metals explorationist. Over the last 18 years I’ve worked on potash projects around the world and this talk – mostly travelogue, part introduction to potash – is a distillation of these projects and travel experiences.”
Capacity for the room is Covid-19 Safety restricted. RSVP early to cwedg@outlook.com
Entry by mask, double vaccinated certificate and Covid Safe Check-in at the venue on arrival.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided – optional PYO dinner after the talk at Duntryleague.
