Our guest speaker

Jon Furlong, Mining Geophysicist – Silixa

Jon has spent a decade processing, interpreting, and managing commercial microseismic projects. He did this work initially at ESG Solutions for oil field operations using surface, subsurface, and borehole geophones. In the past four years Jon has been working with fibre optic systems, specifically DAS for microseismic and strain monitoring. Now with Silixa, Jon is excited to bring DAS solutions to challenges in the mining industry.
