Armando Simón

Armando has forty-eight years of experience in geological exploration, mining, and QA/QC on projects throughout North and South America, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe. Extensive exposure to multiple deposit types, including porphyry Cu, skarn and VMS, epithermal and Proterozoic Au, sulfide/laterite Ni, Fe, Sn, Nb, Li brines, and various industrial and precious minerals. Qualified Person for numerous NI 43-101 Technical Reports on base/precious metals and industrial minerals.

Ph.D. in Economic Geology. More than thirty-five years of graduate and post-graduate teaching experience, including QA/QC workshops for more than 3,400 professionals from 51 countries. Professional registration with various international organizations (AIG/Australia, PGO/Canada, SME/USA, AIPG/USA, EFG/Europe, CCCRRM/Chile, and CBRR/Brazil), Fellow of the GS (UK) and the SEG (EEUU), and Member of the CIM (Canada). 2016 Annual Award of the Colegio de Geólogos de Chile.
