Our guest speakers

Ahmad Saleem, Needle Digital

Ahmad is an ardent advocate and supporter of utilizing modern and innovative techniques to assist the mining and mineral exploration industries (and other industries). His latest venture is Needle Digital, a data mining consultancy that creates bespoke data mining solutions. He also serves as the director of business development for VerAI Discoveries, an AI driven project generator that develops and owns a portfolio of early stage exploration properties. His passion for the role of softer skills in exploration success led him to create Exploration Radio, a podcast about the past, present, and future of exploration. Previously, he worked as a geologist for BHP Billiton and MMG in their Exploration and Business Development groups. He has also worked as an analyst for Ibaera Capital, a US backed $100M private equity fund that focused on acquiring and developing mining projects.
