Our guest speaker

Tristan Wells

Tristan is currently finalising his PhD at CODES under the guidance of Sebastien Meffre and David Cooke. His research is focused on magmatic fertility and vectors to porphyry mineralisation in the Macquarie Arc using a combination of traditional and emerging technologies in whole rock and mineral geochemistry. Tristan has worked in various exploration roles for several companies over the last 5 years , predominantly exploring or researching alkalic porphyry systems in the Junee-Narromine Volcanic Belt. He is also an advanced trade qualified fitter and turner with an extensive work history on the spanner throwing side of mining. Currently working from home on the Gold Coast Tristan is living the dream!
