GSQ’s 2024 Technical Roadshow

The Geological Survey of Queensland’s Technical Roadshow will showcase projects completed under the $23 million New Economy Minerals Initiative.

Held in Mount Isa on Wednesday, 21 and Thursday 22 August 2024, this FREE, two-day event will deliver a series of technical presentations focussed on the outcomes of the New Economy Minerals Initiative. On the second day, we are offering a hands-on mineral systems core workshop enabling participants to learn more about the rocks and gain access to a suite of new data.

Topics include:
» Overview of the New Economy Minerals Initiative
» Regional geophysics
» Micro analytics and mineral systems updates
» Solid geology mapping
» Magnetotelluric surveys
» Hydrogeochemistry surveys
» Collaborative funding programs
» Interactive feedback session to help shape GSQ’s future direction

The Roadshow will also provide a great opportunity to discuss projects and deposits with GSQ staff one-on-one.
