Geological Uncertainty from Pit-to-Port – Managing Opportunities and Risks

8 CPD HoursPresented by Mark Berry, AMC Consultants.

This workshop will identify and assess the sources of geological uncertainty that feed into mineral resource and ore reserve estimates, with implications from pit to port.

Case studies of geological uncertainty associated with mining, processing, transport and environmental aspects will be presented, together with a range of risk management strategies to assist in the assessment and management of geological uncertainty.

The workshop forms part of the AusIMM Life of Mine 2014 conference but may be attended separately to the conference.  Registration is required for non-conference attendees by 30 June.

Cost: AusIMM Member A$1100, Non-member A$1320
