Aeris Resources is an active mining company currently operating the Tritton and Murrawombie copper mines in central NSW. The company holds a large exploration portfolio surrounding the mining operations that also includes completed mines at Larsen’s and North-East, and undeveloped deposits at Avoca Tank, Budgery, Budgerygar and Kurrajong. The total contained copper metal within the combined deposits is more than 750,000t; and exploration prospectivity remains significant.

Rock outcrop is limited and exploration techniques rely heavily on geophysics (electro-magnetics, magnetics and I.P) and surface geochemistry. Host rocks have undergone multiple deformation events, resulting in complex overprinting relationships. Deposit geology and controls on mineralisation are resolved through geological/structural mapping of underground exposure and solution-focussed campaign logging of diamond-core.
