Northern Yorke Peninsula, the Southern Extension of the Olympic IOCG Domain – a display of representative rocks

A collection of rocks and drill core demonstrates aspects of the Palaeo-Mesoproterozoic geology of Northern Yorke Peninsula that has contributed to the formation of the iron oxide associated copper-gold mineralisation of the Moonta-Wallaroo field and related deposits.

AIG members are invited to attend the viewing at the Department of State Development Glenside Core Library from 1:00pm on Thursday 12th March, 2015.
